On Thursday, March 13th Drew Pompa and Josh Dahlberg are going to be doing an in studio interview followed by a brief performance by Josh on WDET. You can listen live around 2:30-3:00pm on your dial - 101.9FM, or stream it. They archive the day's show but we intend to archive it here too. Hopefully some of you can tune in!

To start the week, Vacuum's Gibson's Revenge (BLNK-8) is released. Already getting attention from international talent like Foundsound's Someone Else, this release is a huge sign of things to come both for Detroit and Blank Artists.
FIrst off, thank you to everyone who came out and made our 3 year anniversary a huge success. It was nice to see some old friends and to make some new ones as well. Secondly, over the weekend a terrible crime was committed: Carl Craig's grammy was stolen by some no talent scoundrel that will go unnamed. If you care to learn more, here is what Resident Advisor had to say. Lastly, Happy Valentine's Day. Not that we need a manufactured day to express our love to you, but we'll abide anyway.

Today, we're proud to announce the long awaited RS-232 Selected Remixes (BLNK-3). It offers 5 eclectic tracks, including remixes from label mates Josh Dahlberg and Josh Cummings, as well as support from fellow Detroiters Colin Zyskowski and Andy Toth of People Mover Records. The Selected Remixes can be found at number of online retailers including Itunes and Beatport.
It is with a heavy heart that we observe the passing of Detroit legend Ron Murphy. Ron was instrumental in Detroit Techno and even mastered Cummings' Control Theory EP (BAR001). This marks the end of an era in techno, specifically for Detroit, but also the electronic music community at-large. A fund will be set up in his honor to help his survivors with the costs of funeral expenses. More information forthcomoing.
